Aren’t we all seeking ways to enjoy something delicious without worrying about sugar?
One of our staff made these brownies and shared with the office. We are hooked and have all made these several times! We love that the sweetness comes from dates (no sugar!). Our kids even like this recipe. You may appreciate this if, like us, your kids ask, “Is this a ‘regular’ recipe or one you made healthy?”
The recipe calls for ground flax seed. We have also made these brownies both with light flax seeds and dark flax seeds and either taste great.
Pro tip: if the batter seems too thick/dry add a bit of applesauce. It gives the recipe a really moist and rich texture.
